Malangwa, district headquarters Sarlahi, south east of the capital, South Nepal town bordering India.Midnight
We had accomplished our mission and about to leave the city. A night vision helicopter MI-17 arrived for reinforcement and repel our attack. The city was never ever so bright before, We were all panicked. We had never faced it before and, thought we were not going to make it and escape the city. None of us feared the army or police but we greatly feared the helicopter equipped with night vision.
But there was no choice, it's either do or die and we were not cowards. We all started gunfire in the sky targeting the helicopter. After almost 10 minutes of continuous gunfire, we had successfully gunned down the helicopter with pilot and around 15 army personnel on board. We were amazed of our own doing and accomplished much more than we were supposed to. That was the first time we had gundown a helicopter even though helicopters have in the past been damaged by ground fire. The fighting with security forces continued till 4 a.m. in the morning. That had definitely given the many government officials a some sleepless night. They must had realized our true power and potential.
But now I when thought about it, I think about the sleepless night we have taken from the normal people of the city, the terror we had spread out and that must be a reason for their rebel against us.
The mayhem that began at 9 pm lasted seven hours, instilling the fear of death in every person there. So much so, that locals were cowering behind the closed doors of their house for days. Folk who spent a sleepless night quaking with fear during hours long attack and after, were too scared to speak their mind for months. There were even 20 or more of people crammed in a single poky little room the whole night. Nobody came to buy any mutton at next day on an occasion of chaite dashain.

Sarlahi district administration office, district postal office, district land revenue office, district police office and army barrack we attacked from all the four side at once. We have kidnapped the chief district officer, broke into the prison and freed around 150 of prisoners along with our friend which had been captured and tortured and definitely we lost few of our friends. But it's was all their bravery/sacrifice that lead us to victory.
One question that still hunt me that we attacked from all the four side of the city and eastern side is the border directly connected to sonbarsa, a indian city, then who were the troops that attacked from that side? How they managed to cross the border with gun and other machineries? Where did they spent those night planning the attack?
You can't even think of the situation and circumstances, difficulty we faced planning those attack, how cruel we had been to those villagers where we get shelter and planned those all.
Mohanpur, a village north to district headquarter
One month before the attack
We have had our dinner and gathered to television room, my aunt with his son also joined us. There were only 5 to 6 family in whole village who own a television. My father was a teacher at government school and actually only 4 to 5 people had a proper job in the whole village. We were all watching the Bishnupuran.
The dogs started barking and we heard some sound in the bush behind our house. I asked my mother if there was anything wrong but she told me someone might be there in bush for toilet. My aunt told me that the bush was haunted by 4 Nepali(pahadi) women and they sometimes wake up in night and make noise, one can even hear their walking sound. Everyone in village used to be believe that if the peigon was transported through road on eastern side of the bush, it dies there and there with no blood left in it's body. The whole village used to call it hunted bush. I was not satisfied with the answer. I rushed to another room and opened the windows. There were lights of torches. The slowly went to the brahma tree, a hollyground/worship ground of village. It was a saying every thief/dacku first go the temple and give a prayer before the loot. I told my mom they must be thief. But they all were busy watching the TV series. The episode for the day finished and my aunt went back to her home. My father before going to bed, asked my mom if she was coming. She replied the some work yet to be finished. My father had asked to wake him up when she finished it. I stayed with my mom for chit chat in the terrace. She was almost finished when we heard my neighbor grandma knocking the door asking for open it saying some guest have arrived. My mom muttered who might be the guest in the night and after few minutes they started crying. My mom showed little worried thinking who died. Then we saw man's with rifle coming out the house. They were about to leave but one of them saw us on the terrace and started coming toward our house. My mom rushed to wake my father to pull the wooden ladder but before he could manage it, the thief were on our floor. MY mom throwed all her ornaments below the bed.
At first they switched off all the light and then they searched every corner of the house but found nothing, luckily few days back my fathered had bought a plot. One of them pointed gun to one of my brother who was still asleep and asked my father about the money. He could not answer anything, there was no money in home and no one could had believed the truth. The fear if they would harm us. My mother begged that there was nooney, they
