Runway 34 featuring Ajay Devgn, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, Rakul Preet Singh, Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh is scheduled to be theatrically released on 29 April 2022 and seems to be inspired by 3 major real life incident. Although the Ajay devgn himslef confirmed that movie is loosely inspired from the real incident that took place on the 2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight but after watching the trailer over and over, it's can easily be predicted the th upcoming movie is inspired from three real incidents.

2015 Jet Airways Doha-Kochi flight.
This is already officially confirmed by film's unit and talked several times by many. Jet Airways flight 9W 555 with 142 passengers and 8 crew members on board headed from Doha to Kochi diverted the plane to Trivandrum due to non enough visibility because of heavy rainfall on previous day where it landed after three failed attempts with only 250 kg of fuel left. though the pilot finally landed on Runway 32, movie is named Runway 34 probably to minimize any legal producer from the flight company.

2012 Thriller/Drama Movie Flight
It's already been talk of the town and whole comment section is filled up with movie being remake of 2012 Thriller/Drama Movie Flight which itself is loosely based on real incident Alaska Airlines Flight 261. for this check the trailer from 0: 40 to 0:45 and you can observe how the shift change from Ajay Devgn face expression to a bottle which I assume to be a bottle of alcohol. Flight itself is a good movie and any references from the movie definitely add to content of Runway 34. Flight Movie Trailer.
US-Bangla crash: Emotional Breakdown of Pilot
Now this is interesting. In movie itself we can see several references of smoking by the Pilot and also see Ajay Devgn smoking in the Cockpit of the aero-plane. There is several reasons why I am betting on this. First: The references of Smoking. Second: The Crash scene in the trailer as in both above cases there was no causalities but in trailer we can see the dead body in crash point. Third: the relationship between Pilot and Co-pilot; as per real incident the pilot has affair with co-pilot and he was suspended due to the same reason on previous day of flight. And if any references from the incident can definitely add much more to the character of Co-pilot played by Rakul Preet.
