The Immortal of kalyuga

"Better to die than be a coward"

He took a deep breath and smiled, no one around at least alive, a bloodshed finally made his life complete. His life was no more stories of only cowardice and pain, what he had done that day was definitely an act of heroism bravery. He once again proved "The Gurkhas leave no man behind".

The day he realized why in times past, it was said that once a kukri was drawn in battle, it had to "taste blood" - if not, its owner had to cut himself before returning it to its sheath.

Kukri, an 18-inch long curved knife. When the rifle misfires, or when the bullets have run out, a Gurkha unsheathes his Kukri makes his final “do or die “run on the enemy in a fury to finish the business.

He searched the bag of the soldiers with expectation of finding something to get relief from the Pain and he found the two injection. Neither wasting a second nor giving a single thought about what it could be, he injected both to himself.

He was dying of pain, still he sensed the pain of those whom he had killed, pain of their family. Slowly he sensed the hatred inside; hate about his own doing. The hatred were so visceral it almost belies his own emotion, his own bravery and heroism.

He felt he still may move, and tried to get on his foot. No more than two steps, he fall; fall on the grinade. When he woke up, found him in in hospital, he had lost one arm and one leg.
